Our Founder

For 16 years, Sarah has provided care for residents with developmental disabilities here at Grace Oasis Personal Care Home. She has been a nurse for 27 years and has worked in a variety of settings in her chosen profession.
She worked at the Brookdale University Hospital for 2 years as a Medical Surgical Nurse from 1997-1999. In 1999, she took on a new position as an Oncology Nurse at the New York Presbyterian Hospital where she worked on the unit and the Bone Marrow Transplant unit caring for the cancer stricken patients until 2001. It was there she developed her passion for providing care for the terminally ill. In 2001-2003, she took on the position as a Home Hospice Nurse.
In 2006, she accepted the position as a RN working at a community hospital in Atlanta Georgia on the Renal/Telemetry unit for 5 years. She also started the Home business of Grace Oasis Personal Care Home. In 2007, she worked as the Assistant Nurse Manager of her unit for 6 months and worked with a Hospice company as a Case Manager managing the health of the terminally ill for 2 years.
In 2009, she worked as the interim Director of Nursing for a period of 4 months and then took on the role as a staff Nurse RN at an inpatient Hospice Care facility for 2 years. In 2011 she joined her company full time as the managing Director of Grace Oasis Personal Care Home.
